Andra Tarta

Hi everyone! My name is Andra Tarta (she/her) and I’m excited to take on the role of GSS Councilor this year. I am a first year MPH student with a background in Biomedical Science and Psychology. I have previously conducted SARS-CoV-2 and One Health research, which sparked my interest in exploring the reciprocal relationship between human and environmental health. Although my public health interests are broad, I would love to work in the climate justice sphere after completing the MPH. I am still new to B.C., so in my free time, I love exploring cafes, picturesque hikes, and other hidden gems around Vancouver. I love chatting (that’s probably my favourite hobby), so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or just to say hi!
