Megan MacGregor

She/Her

I-EDI Representative

Hi everyone, I’m Megan MacGregor (she/her), and I’m returning this year as one of your I-EDI Grad representatives. I’m a second year PhD student and I work on the Indigenous Healthy Life Trajectories Initiative (I-HeLTI) Project under the supervision of Dr. Pablo Nepomnaschy in the Maternal Child Health Lab. My research is focussed on illuminating protective factors for community-identified health concerns. We use a mixed methods approach to understand the degree to which the breadth and depth of traditional knowledge protect against non-communicable diseases. When I’m not working, you’ll find me on the soccer field or in the gym! I’m looking forward to continuing the important work of the I-EDI Advisory Circle.
