Rico Misajon

He/Him

I-EDI Representative

Hi y’all, I’m Rico Misajon (he/him), and I’m grateful to be one of the I-EDI representatives for the year! I am a first year MPH student, with a BA Hons. in Applied Psychology with a focus in counseling and a background in nursing. My previous experiences, particularly with research in my undergraduate degree and my volunteer work as a peer-support group facilitator for a local 2SLGBTQQIA+ BIPOC group, have culminated in my interest to pursue a MPH. My research interests revolve around health equity, community health, and illuminating barriers/pathways to care through qualitative research. Outside of school you’ll find me tending to my indoor tropical plant collection, playing gacha games, making a matcha tea latte/pour over, or trying out a new cafe/restaurant. Feel free to reach out if you need anything or if you want to say hi!
